How to Choose the Right Capacity
Rated capacity only applies at the stated load centre. If the load is long, deep or heavy at one end, safe capacity falls, and capacity usually reduces as lift height increases.

Forklift Rental Kuala Lumpur: Planning an Out-of-State Hire
- Longer rentals make sense. Transport cost depends on distance and machine size, so a one-day hire from Johor rarely adds up. Weekly and monthly rentals spread transport over more days.
- Send photos on WhatsApp. Show the loading bay, floor, doorways and the load itself. Getting the right forklift first time avoids a second delivery.
- Check overhead clearance. Tell us the lowest doorway, mezzanine or sprinkler pipe and your highest racking level.
- Add other machines. Pallet trucks, stackers or a scissor lift can travel on the same lorry.

Can I rent a forklift in KL for an office or factory relocation?
Yes. Relocations are a common reason to rent short-term. Tell us the heaviest item, the lift height needed and both addresses, and we will suggest a forklift and a rental period that covers packing and set-up at the new site.
Which forklift should I use inside a building with no ventilation?
Use an electric forklift. The EP Li-ion models produce no exhaust at the point of use. Diesel forklifts, including the EP 7 Ton Diesel Forklift, should only be used in well-ventilated or outdoor areas.
Can a Li-ion forklift work in the rain at an outdoor loading bay?
The EP EFL302/EFL352 is IPX4 rated and the EP EFX302/322 is water-protected, so both can be operated outdoors, even in the rain. They still need firm, paved ground.
How heavy a load can your forklifts lift?
Our EP Li-ion forklifts are rated at 3,000 kg (EFX302, EFL302) and 3,500 kg (EFL352) at a 500 mm load centre. The EP CPCD70 diesel is rated at 7,000 kg at a 600 mm load centre. Our wider fleet covers diesel forklifts from 1.5 to 16 ton.
Do you keep forklifts in Kuala Lumpur?
No. Our forklifts are based at our yard in Iskandar Puteri, Johor, and we deliver to sites across Johor, KL & Selangor. Plan ahead and book early, especially for month-end or festive peaks.
Do my operators need a forklift licence?
Operators must be trained and competent, which in practice means a recognised forklift operator course (often called lesen forklift). Many sites ask for proof. We also give operator training on the machine at handover or at our yard.
Do you rent pallet trucks or stackers in the Klang Valley as well?
Yes. Alongside forklifts we rent 2 ton pallet trucks, 1.2 ton stackers and 1.5–1.8 ton reach trucks, which can travel on the same delivery.
