Built for Selangor’s Industrial Belt
Selangor’s scissor lift work is mostly industrial: maintenance in manufacturing plants, racking and lighting in warehouses, and roof and services work along the Port Klang logistics belt. A&G Equipment offers scissor lift rental Selangor factories and logistics operators can book by the week or month, with electric lifts for indoor work and a rough-terrain diesel lift for yards.
Our yard is in Iskandar Puteri, Johor, and we deliver to sites across Johor, KL & Selangor. We do not have a Selangor depot, so we plan each job with you in advance, from machine choice to delivery slot.
Where Our Scissor Lifts Work in Selangor
Shah Alam and Klang manufacturing plants
Plant shutdowns, new production lines, overhead piping, exhaust ducting and cable trays. These jobs often need an electric lift inside the plant and a rough-terrain machine for outdoor plant areas on the same project.
Port Klang, Kapar and the logistics belt
Large distribution warehouses need regular high-bay lighting replacement, racking installation and inspection, and sprinkler maintenance. A wide-deck electric lift lets two workers carry fittings and tools in one trip instead of going up and down all day.
Subang, Petaling Jaya and Puchong
A mix of factories, warehouses, fit-outs and commercial buildings. Compact battery lifts suit shop and office interiors, while larger units cover factory ceilings.
Rawang and Semenyih
Factories and warehouses on the edges of the Klang Valley, where longer transport distances make planned monthly rentals the sensible choice.
Electric or Rough-Terrain? How to Choose
The type of lift should follow from where it will be used, not just how high you need to go.
| Item | Dingli 12m Electric Scissor Lift | Genie 12m Rough-Terrain Scissor Lift |
|---|---|---|

For low-level work such as shopfront signage or small interiors, the Dingli 5.6m Battery Scissor Lift is 0.76 m wide and fits through standard doors.
Matching Height to Warehouse and Factory Jobs
Working height is platform height plus about 2 m. Measure to the actual work point, such as the top racking beam, light fitting or sprinkler line.
| Platform height | Approx. working height | Typical Selangor jobs |
|---|---|---|
| 3.6–4.6 m | 5.6–6.5 m | Office ceilings, shelving, CCTV, shopfront signage |
| 5.8–6.1 m | 7.8–8.1 m | Ceiling works, ducting, sprinkler work |
| 7.9–9.8 m | 9.9–11.8 m | Warehouse lighting, racking installation, cable trays |
| 10–13.7 m | 12–15.7 m | High-bay warehouses, roof underside, large-scale M&E |
Our full fleet runs from 5.6 m to 18 m working height. See every model on our scissor lift rental page.
Planning Scissor Lift Rental in Selangor From Johor
- Rent weekly or monthly. Transport is a one-off charge based on distance, machine size and site access, so longer rentals spread it over more days. Our daily, weekly or monthly rental guide shows when each makes sense.
- Book ahead of shutdowns. Give us your shutdown or project dates early, especially around month-end and festive shutdowns.
- Send photos on WhatsApp. Floor, access route, loading bay and the work area help us get the right machine first time. A second delivery costs more than any discount.
- Bundle machines. Scissor lifts and forklifts for the same warehouse can travel together.

Scissor Lift rental in Selangor: FAQs
Which scissor lift suits high-bay racking in a Shah Alam or Klang warehouse?
For racking, lighting and sprinkler lines in taller warehouses, the Dingli 12m Electric Scissor Lift is a common choice: 12 m working height, 320 kg capacity and a 2.27 x 1.12 m deck with a 0.90 m extension. Send us your top beam or ceiling height and we will confirm.
Can one scissor lift handle both the factory floor and the outdoor yard?
Usually not well. Electric lifts are built for firm, level floors, while the Genie 12m Rough-Terrain Scissor Lift is a 4WD diesel machine for compacted but uneven ground. Many Selangor plants rent one of each for the same project.
Do you rent scissor lifts for factory shutdowns in Selangor?
Yes. Shutdown maintenance is a good fit for weekly rental. Book early and tell us the exact shutdown window so the machine is on site before your crew starts.
Where is your nearest yard to Selangor?
Our only Malaysian yard and office is at SILC, Iskandar Puteri, Johor. We deliver from there to sites across Johor, KL & Selangor, and transport cost depends on distance.
Can you deliver a forklift with the scissor lift to our Port Klang warehouse?
Yes, we rent EP forklifts as well. Combining machines on one delivery can be cheaper than separate trips, so list everything you need when you ask for a quote.
How many people can work on the Genie rough-terrain scissor lift?
The Genie GS-3390 RT is rated up to 1,134 kg and a maximum of 7 persons, on a 3.98 x 1.83 m platform with a 1.52 m slide-out deck. Always count tools and materials in the load.
Can we buy a scissor lift instead of renting for our Selangor plant?
Yes. We sell new Dingli scissor lifts as an authorised distributor, plus reconditioned units, and we accept trade-ins. If you use a lift most months of the year, ask us to compare buying with long-term rental.
